Scott Godino Jr., the founder of B.A.R. (Born And Raised) restaurant concept in Las Vegas, has partnered with Anthony E. Zuiker, who created the TV franchise "CSI: Crime Scene Investigation," to open an entertainment/drive-thru pizza concept — Fly Pie — in Henderson, Nevada.

"Fly Pie is a community-first organization that values the responsibility of serving our members," Godino said in a company press release. "This team and the concept we've come up with has the opportunity to revolutionize the quick-service industry by marrying exceptional food with an entertainment experience like no other."

Located at 2590 Saint Rose Pkwy., near the Las Vegas Strip, Fly Pie delivers a safe, fast and high-quality experience from "takeoff" (ordering) to "landing" (receiving their order) to enjoying one's meal, Zuiker said. As they drive toward the pick-up window. customers get an immersive entertainment experience featuring stories about the chain's original characters — "Lil Churro Tot," "Mr. Heat" and "Chomp" — developed by Zuiker. Scents such as pizza, cinnamon and bacon, inspired by the characters and menu items, fill the air in the drive-thru tunnel.

"Fly Pie is about heart smiles and great pizza on the fly," Zuiker said in the release. "Our goal is to be the best part of a family's day. One trip down our runway, and we believe you will fly with us in every way imaginable."

The menu features artisan pizza, wings, loaded fries and made-to-order desserts, including fried Oreos and churros inspired by Godino's menu B.A.R. Its s high-octane oven cooks pizzas in less than 3 minutes, and the pizza features a dough recipe made with New York water to produce the superior taste and quality appreciated by true pizza connoisseurs, Godino said.

Employees, known as "flight personnel," display patches denoting their fields of service expertise and personality. Further tapping into the local community it serves, Fly Pie features an original art wall where local graffiti artists paint something new every three months as a way to bring the community together through positive events. Fly Pie has its own TikTok and Character Walls, complete with multiple backgrounds, where hungry patrons can take selfies with the Fly Pie characters, according to the company.

Fly Pie also features carry out and contactless delivery, where orders can be placed through the Fly Pie app and planned third-party delivery partners such as Uber Eats, GrubHub and DoorDash
