CREAM, a Bay Area-based dessert franchise, will soon open its doors in Ontario, California.
The new store, opening in May at 960 Ontario Mills Dr., Suite C., will be the first of two locations owned and operated by Linda and Michael Marceaux. The Marceauxs plan to continue expanding into the Inland Empire next year with a second location in Temecula, according to a company press release.
"We are extremely excited to bring CREAM to the Empire," said Linda. "One thing that stood out to us about CREAM was how highly involved and connected they are with the communities they are in. With our two locations, my husband and I feel honored to be able to share the joy that CREAM brings to Ontario and the surrounding cities. With CREAM's premium products and affordability, we are highly confident that the community will embrace the brand wholeheartedly."
CREAM, which is an acronym for "Cookies Rule Everything Around Me," offers a menu of over 20 ice cream flavors, 16 cookie flavors and as many as 18 toppings that customers can mix and match, as well as vegan and gluten-free options.
While the premium ice cream sandwiches are the main draw, CREAM also has milkshakes, floats, malts, scoops of ice cream, baked goods and the "Cream Taco" — a taco-shaped waffle cone. Recent additions to the menu include the mini ice cream sandwich, premium ice cream pints and coffee drinks, Linda said.
"At CREAM, we treat everyone like family and we are deeply committed to providing an unforgettable experience to each and every person that walks into our doors," she said.
Since opening its first store in Berkeley in 2010, CREAM has expanded to over 24 locations throughout California and Nevada, and has 30 to 40 stores under development.
