Cracker Barrel latest to jump into fast casual fray

Cracker Barrel is looking to launch its own fast casual concept sometime in July 2016.

According to a story in the Tennessean, Cracker Barrel spokewoman Janella Escobar says the as-yet-unnamed concept will launch sometime in July 2016.

Last year Macaroni Grill launched its Romano's Kitchen Counter as its foray into fast casual. Applebee's has also tested a concept.
