Cowboy Chicken ventures west to California

Cowboy Chicken has signed a 30-store franchise agreement with Texacal Foods, expanding the concept into California. 

The concept is set to break ground on locations in early 2017.

"We are excited to work with smart, experienced partners like Texacal Foods to bring our all-natural wood fire rotisserie chicken to the people of California,"said Sean Kennedy, Cowboy Chicken president and CEO, in a release.

By end of 2016, the concept will have 26 restaurants open across six states.
