Cowboy Chicken signs lease for Texas expansion

Cowboy Chicken will soon begin construction of their seventh location in The Rayzor Ranch Development, located in Denton, Texas.

The new Cowboy Chicken in Denton is the sixth location in the Dallas/Fort Worth area and represents the third franchised operation with Vesta Restaurant Group. Vesta Restaurant Group entered into a multi-unit area development agreement with Cowboy Chicken in 2010 and plans to open 10 stores in the DFW area.

"We are pleased to bring the legendary wood-fire flavor of Cowboy Chicken to the Denton community. We chose Cowboy Chicken to develop because of the exceptional brand value and operational excellence they deliver to customers as well as franchisees," said Bob Andersen, president of Vesta Restaurant Group.

In addition to a comfortable dine-in environment, Cowboy Chicken offers take-out, home delivery and catering services. The restaurant will be open daily from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m.

Cowboy Chicken has been cooking their legendary, all-natural chicken over a wood-burning fire since 1981 and operates five restaurants in the DFW area, and one in Longview, Texas.
