Cowboy Chicken serving watermelon, watermelon tea for LTO

Cowboy Chicken has brought back fresh-cut watermelon as a summer side option. In addition, the chicken chain has introduced Watermelon Tea.

The tea is available at all Cowboy Chicken locations for a limited time and is freshly brewed from black tea leaves infused with watermelon. The new Watermelon Tea is also offered in a portable gallon container for summer events and picnics to wash down a Cowboy Chicken meal for only $4.99, said Sean Kennedy, president, Cowboy Chicken.

"We always enjoy summertime with our fres-cut watermelon back on the menu as a favorite side," he said. "Our new Watermelon Tea is a delicious and refreshing new flavor that complements our wood-fire rotisserie chicken and quenches the summer heat."

Along with the fresh-cut watermelon, Cowboy Chicken also serves fresh salads and sandwiches, grilled skinless chicken breast and sides such as baked sweet potato, green beans and campfire veggies, which can all be ordered online, Kennedy said. Cowboy Chicken's fresh-cut watermelon and new Watermelon Tea are available along with online ordering for lunch and dinner, take-out, home delivery and catering services.
