Dallas-based Cowboy Chicken opened its first California location Monday, according to a company press release. Founded in 1981, Cowboy Chicken is a fast casual restaurant chain specializing in real wood-fired rotisserie chicken.
"We are thrilled to bring the legendary wood-fired flavor of Cowboy Chicken to California for the very first time," Owner and Operations partner Kevin Roche said in the release.
The California location is a 2,000-square-foot restaurant centered around a large, wood-burning rotisserie where guests can view the chickens roasting from the dining area.
