Cowboy Chicken has inked a franchise agreement to bring the concept to Oklahoma City and surrounding areas.

Cowboy Chicken has inked a franchise agreement to bring the concept to Oklahoma City and surrounding areas, with the first of five locations looking to open in northern Oklahoma City in 2016.  

"We're offering a quick, yet upscale, option for those on the go," Sean Kennedy, president, said in a company press release. "Cowboy Chicken offers fresh, home-cooked food in an enjoyable environment. We are thrilled to be bringing this concept to the people of Oklahoma."

Founded in Dallas, Texas in 1981, Cowboy Chicken is continuing to grow through franchise opportunities and planned corporate development, Kennedy said.
