Cowboy Chicken delivering turkey to first responders

As a show of gratitude to first responders in the communities it serves, Dallas-based Cowboy Chicken is launching a turkey giveback promotion during Thanksgiving. On Nov. 27, staff from all Cowboy Chicken locations will deliver a complimentary rotisserie turkey holiday package to on-duty firefighters at their city's local fire station, according to the release. 

The package includes a turkey, twice baked potatoes, an additional side, country-style stuffing, peach or apple cobbler and rolls.

"Thanksgiving is the perfect time for us to show our appreciation to the first responders in our community," Cowboy Chicken president Sean Kennedy said in the release "Many of these men and women are working during the holidays and not able to enjoy Thanksgiving with family and friends. Our hope is that this meal will taste and feel a little like home and will serve as a token of gratitude for their sacrifices throughout the year."
