Cowboy Chicken continues West Texas expansion

Cowboy Chicken has signed its newest franchisee, Cowboy C West Texas LLC. The five-store development agreement will expand the Cowboy Chicken brand to West Texas, starting with Lubbock, a place that holds deep roots for several Cowboy Chicken corporate team members. President Sean Kennedy, Franchise Operations Director Chris Mastin and Longview General Manager Brad Everett are all graduates of Texas Tech University. When Cowboy C West Managing Partner Brent Shankle, along with Operations Partner Shannyn Taggart expressed interest in taking Cowboy Chicken West to the Red Raiders, it seemed like a natural fit, according to a company press release.

Shankle is the VP of his family's 74-year-old trucking company, Robert Heath Trucking, Shannyn has been in the restaurant industry for years and brings managerial and operations experience from one of the country's largest fast food companies, according to the release.
