Cowboy Chicken celebrates 30 years of serving enchiladas

March 8, 2013

Cowboy Chicken, a seven-unit Dallas-based, wood-fire rotisserie chicken brand, is celebrating 30 years of serving its Chicken Enchiladas, stuffed with wood-fired rotisserie chicken. In celebration, guests who purchase a Chicken Enchilada Platter will receive a complimentary Wild West Side through the end of March.

Cowboy Chicken's twist on enchiladas begins with fresh corn tortillas and its signature wood-fired chicken, said Sean Kennedy, president, Cowboy Chicken. The enchiladas are hand-rolled daily at every Cowboy Chicken location and are then smothered with a secret recipe spicy sour cream tomatillo sauce, topped with melted Monterrey Jack cheese and sprinkled with fresh cilantro.

"We're proud to celebrate our authentic homemade enchiladas that have been part of our menu since 1983," Kennedy said. "Our Tex-Mex enchiladas, with the spicy green tomatillo sauce were developed right here in Dallas, Texas and have been a bestselling signature item ever since."

Cowboy Chicken is offering a complimentary Wild West Side with the purchase of any enchilada platter. Guests can choose one from 17 different fresh homemade sides through the end of March.
