Cowboy Chicken adds franchise development director

April 16, 2013

Cowboy Chicken-Wood Fire Rotisserie, a seven-unit Dallas-based fast casual brand, has named Kathy Davidson as its new director of Franchise Development to further franchise growth.

"We have great candidates interested in opening a Cowboy Chicken that possess a passion for the brand and serving guests and families in a fast-paced environment," said Sean Kennedy, president, Cowboy Chicken. "We hired Kathy to develop and implement programs and sales methodologies to help passionate franchisee candidates, whose goals and cultures best match those of Cowboy Chicken, become successful."

Davidson most recently served as manager, Franchise Sales for Church's Chicken, an international brand with more than $1.2 billion in sales per year. In her new role with Cowboy Chicken, she will be offering development opportunities to experienced restaurant operators throughout the U.S. Franchise candidates, those qualified financially with restaurant experience and multiunit operators, are currently being interviewed.

"Cowboy Chicken has been around for 30 years and franchising is a key component to our continued growth," Kennedy said. "Kat brings a true passion for finding the right franchisees to match our long brand history."
