Cosi expands New Jersey presence

Cosi Inc. has expanded its presence in the Garden State with the opening of a cafe in Mountainside, New Jersey, according to a company press release. 

Designed to accommodate office tenants and outside guests, the space opened Sept. 17 in the Diamondhead Building, 200 Sheffield St., Ste. #108. It has several tables adjacent with additional communal seating in the courtyard.

"We are thrilled to introduce Cosi's fresh, flavorful menu to the Mountainside community," Vinnie DiNatale, director of marketing, said in the release. "This location is perfect for the busy professional to enjoy a cup of coffee with a co-worker, grab a delicious lunch and catering for the entire office."

Così's other New Jersey locations are in Jersey City, Morristown and Secaucus, with a Piscataway opening planned for early 2020. Earlier this year, Cosi opened locations in Burlington and Cambridge, Massachusetts and Hartford, Connecticut.

Celebrating its 30th anniversary this year, Cosi restaurants are based on the original restaurant still operating in Paris, France. The chain has 49 company-owned and 17 franchise restaurants operating in 11 states, the District of Columbia and Costa Rica.
