Corner Bakery intros new main squeeze

Corner Bakery Cafe is offering guests a new way to stop and taste the summer with the launch of a new Hibiscus Lemonade in addition to its all-natural Old-Fashioned Lemonade. The restaurant will also host a fundraising promotion featuring the summertime refreshments and special edition tumblers to support Share Our Strength's No Kid Hungry campaign.

The Old-Fashioned Lemonade features a classic lemon taste while the Hibiscus Lemonade is made with a blend of pomegranate, berries, lemons and a touch of hibiscus. Both new beverages are all-natural and fat free, according to a company press release.

From now to Sept. 30, guests can enjoy the beverages while helping to end childhood hunger in America. As part of its commitment to No Kid Hungry, Corner Bakery Cafe will offer guests the opportunity to purchase a special edition 16-ounce tumbler for $4.99. A dollar from each tumbler purchase can help the No Kid Hungry campaign connect children in need to up to 10 meals. Guests who purchase the new custom-designed tumblers will receive lemonade refills for $1 on returning visits through September, with 10 percent of the proceeds also going toward No Kid Hungry.

"Corner Bakery Cafe is the neighborhood spot this summer to enjoy friends, made-to-order food and now refreshing all-natural lemonades," said Diana Hovey, chief marketing officer at Corner Bakery Cafe. "With our special promotion supporting the No Kid Hungry campaign this summer, guests can cool down for a cause by purchasing limited-edition tumblers for their lemonade, and help connect hungry children to the support they need."

For the past five years, Corner Bakery Cafe has partnered with Share Our Strength, an organization working to end childhood hunger in the United States. This year, Corner Bakery Cafe expects to surpass $1 million in total contributions to Share Our Strength.
