Corner Bakery Café is looking for top multi-unit franchise operators to expand into the Southeast region of the United States, according to a company press release.

"Experts are forecasting that the fast casual industry will lead the way for new restaurant development this year,” said Gregg Koffler, vice president of franchise sales for Corner Bakery Café . “When we couple that with a growing demand for Corner Bakery Café in the Southeast, we see tremendous opportunity to build upon the success we are experiencing with our Florida and Georgia café."

Specifically, Corner Bakery Café will focus its franchising efforts in Birmingham, Charleston, Charlotte, Columbia, Jackson, New Orleans, Raleigh and Tampa.

“Our efforts in target markets in this region will enable us to deliver on our goal of doubling our national franchisee footprint in the next two years,” Koffler said. “You will see more Corner Bakery Cafés throughout the Southeast because of our experienced franchise sales team and the popularity our existing cafes already have there.”

In targeting the Southeast region, Corner Bakery Café , which has more than 390 locations in development commitments, plans to strengthen its presence as one of the fastest-growing brands in the industry, Koffler said.

“This is the perfect time for us to establish ourselves as the premiere fast casual dining destination in the Southeast,” he said.. “Franchise partners and patrons alike have been raving about our brand in every market we penetrate, and our target Southeast markets will be no different.”
