CoreLife Eatery digitizes field assessments

September 29, 2017

CoreLife Eatery is gearing up for major expansion by getting its operations in order. The chain has partnered with MeazureUp to create a robust operational field assessment plan, according to a company press release.

"Adding MeazureUp into the fold is going to pay direct dividends, not only with our existing location management but more importantly as we continue to bring new franchisees online," Scott Davis, president of CoreLife Eatery, said in the release. "Our plan is to bring this fast casual concept to the masses with successful rollouts of more locations, new online ordering and catering options. A sound operational plan with a viable tool like MeazureUp is paramount to executing on these goals."

With the MeazureUp application, any district manager can conduct store visits with in-audit functionality such as image, comment and action-plan tracking, according to the release. Accessible via any Android or iOS device, DM's only require a mobile device to record an assessment. Once submitted, each report is aggregated on the MeazureUp dashboard, so CoreLife can identify and improve its operational controls, all in real time.

CoreLife Eatery, which opened in 2015, started this year with seven units but will have 28 by year-end. The key to this successful development is due in large part to a progressive strategy of implementing strong leadership and new technology, David said.
