Coolgreens promotes Amanda Powell to operations chief

Amanda Powell, Coolgreens' director of operations and training, has been promoted to vice president of operations at the healthy lifestyle fast casual brand.

In her new role, she will support the brand team and oversee the brand's reward app as well as develop a traveling training team for new restaurants, according to a press release.

Prior to the promotion, Powell served in her previous role for 15 months. Before joining Coolgreens she served as the regional training manager and general manager for Red Lobster in Abilene, Texas.

"We are really proud to promote Amanda," said CEO Robert Lee in the release. "She has worked tirelessly in our ongoing quest to become not only a national brand, but one of the most respected fast casual brands in the country. Her commitment to her teams and support of our franchisees has and will continue to be inspiring. She deserves this promotion, and we will be a stronger brand because of it."
