Coney Beach opening sales exceed expectations

July 9, 2007

TULSA, Okla.  Coney Beach restaurant has exceeded sales projections made by parent company Beautiful Brands International, bringing in a total of $51,432 in revenues during its first week of operation.

The restaurant's first-week success was accented by six minute ticket times and 15 minute table turns, the company said. Additionally, Coney Beach sold more than 650 hot dogs, 350 hamburgers, and 100 milkshakes per day during the first week.

"Coney Beach serves both lunch and dinner day parts," said David Rutkauskas, Beautiful Brands founder, chief executive and president. "Our goal is to strongly drive both day parts for record-setting revenues in this category, redefining 'fast casual.'"

Coney Beach, BBI's second concept, is a retro, beach-inspired, fast-casual, gourmet hot dog and gourmet burger restaurant. It is one of three concepts privately held by Beautiful Brands International.
