Coney Beach makes waves in Texas, N.M.

TULSA, Okla. — Beautiful Brands International, parent company of Coney Beach, has announced an agreement to expand the brand into parts of Texas and New Mexico.

The agreement between Beautiful Brands and Coney Beach licensed franchisee, Milap Maniar, calls for at least two Coney Beach restaurants to open in El Paso, Texas, and Las Cruces, N.M.

The El Paso store is slated to open summer 2008 while the Las Cruces location is set to open by March 2009. Maniar is an El Paso-based restaurateur whose brand portfolio includes Nestle Toll House Café and an original candy concept, Kandy Kingdom.
