Compass Group acquires food delivery platform Eat Club

Compass Group North America, which owns Canteen, has acquired Eat Club, a Redwood City, California-based food delivery platform, according to a Crunchbase News report. Canteen is the nation's largest vending operation.

Eat Club, a virtual cafeteria offering individually packaged meals for delivery to businesses, will be part of Compass Digital Labs under the leadership of CEO Jugveer Randhawa.

Doug Leeds, CEO of Eat Club, will retain the same role at Compass Group.
