City Barbecue names president

City Barbeque has added Mike Muldoon to its leadership team as its president and COO, according to a company press release. Muldoon, who served as president of RMH, an Atlanta-based franchise group with 140 restaurants across 15 states, has more than 25 years of experience in c-suite restaurant management.

"We really took our time on an extensive national search to find just the right COO," City Barbeque founder and CEO Rick Malir, said in the release. "Mike’s experience in successfully scaling brands on a national level makes him the perfect choice for City Barbeque. I’m excited to see how Mike will help us build upon our foundation and culture, and the whole team is looking forward to having him on board as President and COO."

City Barbeque is based in Dublin, Ohio, and has more than 50 locations.
