Online ordering platform Lunchbox and Sam Nazarian's C3 are partnering to create the Citizens Go app that houses C3's network of ghost kitchens, restaurants and dining spaces, a news release said.
Citizens Go is a third-party delivery platform alternative that includes:
• Houses C3's entire ghost kitchen network of over 200 virtual food halls, brick-and-mortar restaurants, airport dining and co-working spaces.
• Brings C3's most popular quick-service brands, including Krispy Rice, Umami Burger and Sam's Crispy Chicken together with completely new concepts from global chefs, including Dani Garcia, Dario Cecchini and Katsuya Uechi.
• Empowers customers to order direct from multiple restaurants and place in a single cart order.
• Features an introductory offer of a free Umami Burger with every first in-app order.
It's available for iPhone and Android users and currently offers delivery in Los Angeles, Northern California, New York City and Chicago. It will expand in cities across the country, including Miami, Austin, Portland, San Francisco, Seattle, and Atlanta in future months.
Citizens Go is a first-to-market app that brings C3's umbrella of brands into one ordering experience, using Lunchbox's digital technology to connect consumers directly with the restaurants. This partnership enables guests to group menu items from multiple C3 restaurants into a single order, an option unavailable on third-party delivery platforms.

The companies said the app marks a pioneering moment for ghost kitchens, charting a path for driving direct-to-consumer relationships, brand-building and guest loyalty, while offering guests a hospitality-forward experience.
