Chorizo is back at Chipotle

Chipotle Mexican Grill has added chorizo back to the menu as an LTO.

"Chorizo had a big following in its heyday, and a lot of our customers were disappointed when it was taken off the menu," Chief Marketing Officer at Chipotle Chris Brandt, said in the release. "As part of our overall commitment to menu innovation and delivering the craveable food our customers love, we're spicing things up and bringing chorizo back to our menu."

Chipotle began testing Chorizo in 2016, but removed it a year later to make room for its queso launch.
