Los Angeles customers will soon be able to order chocolate-fried chicken when ChocoChicken opens in March in the South Park district of Downtown Los Angeles. The new concept, which serves a fried chicken and chocolate hybrid, is a partnership between Adam Fleischman and his AdVantage Restaurant Partners, Keith Previte and Sean Robins, according to a company press release.
"Fried chicken is a classic American comfort food that has been largely overlooked in fast casual restaurants," Fleischman said. "ChocoChicken is completely different than anything else out there. This isn't mole, traditional fried chicken or even chicken just dipped in chocolate. It is a whole new style of fried chicken that you just have to taste to believe. It's got the 'crack factor' I look for in a great restaurant brand."
In addition to chocolate fried chicken, ChocoChicken will also serve house-made biscuits, new school sides and sauces, and beer, wine and specialty cocktails from a full bar.
