Chipotle Mexican Grill signed a six-year exclusive agreement with NCR Voyix Corp, deepening a partnership that spans more than 25 years, NCR Voyix CEO Jim Kelly said Thursday during the company's third-quarter earnings call.
Chipotle, which recently reported a decline in its own Q3 earnings, is the first customer to implement the company's Aloha next-generation point-of-sale system built on the Voyix Commerce Platform, using a dual-cloud, edge-enabled microservices architecture.
"I don't think there's a better way to see it than have a relationship that's 25 years renew for another six years with us," Kelly said, noting the product set and the company's ability to execute at a high level drove the renewal.
The announcement came as NCR Voyix reported strong financial results for the quarter ended Sept. 30, 2025, with recurring revenue increasing 5% year-over-year. Management cited "strategic wins like a 6-year Chipotle deal" as a key driver for raising its full-year EBITDA and EPS guidance.
The Chipotle agreement reflects the momentum NCR Voyix is building in the restaurant technology space, where the company is seeing increasing demand for cloud-native, microservices-based architectures, said Benny Tadele, president of Restaurants at NCR Voyix.
"I'm excited about the significant growth opportunity as we deploy our edge-enabled dual-cloud microservices applications and continue transforming the future of restaurant operations," he said on the call.
