Chipotle opens second UK store

Chipotle's second London location is now open on Baker Street. The chain opened its first European store last year and now has more than 1,000 locations worldwide since its 1993 inception.

"We think the prospects are very good for Chipotle in London and around Europe," Chipotle founder, chairman and co-CEO Steve Ells saidwhen the company launched England's first store last year. "The food culture in Europe is based on local, sustainable and artisanal foods, which are all core values of Chipotle and we have been instrumental in bringing this kind of thinking to fast food in the U.S."
