Chipotle offering BOGO promotion for educators

To celebrate Teacher Appreciation Day, May 6, all teachers, faculty and staff will be eligible to receive a free burrito, burrito bowl, salad or taco order with the purchase of another menu item at all Chipotle Mexican Grill locations.

To take advantage of the BOGO promotion, guests need to present a valid school ID at the register. According to a news release, the promotion is valid at all U.S. Chipotle locations from 4 p.m. to closing time.

"We often create programs to educate people about where food comes from or to make them more curious about food and how it's raised, but curiosity generally begins in the classroom," said Chris Arnold, communications director at Chipotle. "The hunger for learning typically starts in our schools and we are happy to recognize the educators who are doing their part to help cultivate a better world."

The promotion is available for in-store orders only.
