Provided

May 19, 2021

Chipotle Mexican Grill is launching a wellness platform — Strive — in hopes of improving mental health among its employees.

The app, created by Aduro, a provider of corporate wellness solutions, offers one-on-one coaching and support to help employees set well-being goals. When met, workers earn perks, including gift cards and discounts on health insurance. The virtual space will be available next month for restaurant managers, field leaders, and restaurant support center employees, according to a company press release.

"Understanding how employees leveraged our mental health benefits throughout the pandemic inspired us to partner with Aduro for the launch of this new platform," Marissa Andrada, chief diversity, inclusion and people officer, said the release. "By offering access to a personal wellness coach, individualized content, and solutions for self-care, our goal is to foster a continual culture of wellbeing for all employees."
