Chipotle Mexican Grill has announced its Queso Blanco menu item, which will be available across the U.S. on Feb. 27. This recipe features aged Monterey Jack, white cheddar, serrano, poblano and chipotle peppers, according to a press release.

Queso Blanco has no artificial flavors, colors or preservatives and the Monterey Jack cheese in the queso comes from small and mid-sized family farms in Wisconsin to meet Chipotle's "Food with Integrity" standards, according to the release.

Prior to launch, Chipotle tested the Queso Blank in 52 locations in Dallas, Detroit and San Diego in 2019.

"Feedback on Queso Blanco in the test markets exceeded our expectations and it quickly became clear that we needed to give all of our guests access to this delicious queso," Chris Brandt, CMO at Chipotle, said in the release. "Our culinary team perfected a recipe of real, responsibly sourced ingredients, helping to advance our mission of 'Cultivating a Better World.'"
