Chipotle featuring Olympians' favorite menu items

Chipotle Mexican Grill has launched the second iteration of its Team Chipotle Menu, which features the go-to orders of American winter athletes and Chipotle superfans Hailey Langland, Red Gerard, Kendall Coyne Schofield, Hilary Knight, Jessie Diggins, and Charlie McAvoy as well as all-world soccer player Alex Morgan and star receiver JuJu Smith-Schuster.

Exclusively on the Chipotle app and Chipotle.com, Chipotle is featuring the real entrees these elite athletes regularly incorporate into their training routines.

The new menu items include:

Alex Morgan Bowl: Plant-Based Chorizo, Cilantro-Lime white rice (Light), Pinto Beans, Fajita Veggies, fresh tomato salsa, roasted chili-corn salsa, guacamole.
Red Gerard Tacos: Chicken, corn tortillas, Tomatillo-red chili salsa, cheese, sour cream, Romaine lettuce.
Hilary Knight Burrito: brown rice, pinto beans, Fajita veggies, cheese, Tomatillo-red chili salsa, guacamole.
Charlie McAvoy Bowl: Chicken, white rice, black beans, fresh tomato salsa, Romaine lettuce, cheese, guacamole.
Hailey Langland Bowl: Chicken, white rice, black beans, fresh tomato salsa, Romaine lettuce, cheese, guacamole.
Kendall Coyne Schofield Bowl: Chicken, white rice, fresh tomato salsa, sour cream, Romaine lettuce, guacamole.
JuJu Smith-Schuster Bowl: Plant-based chorizo, cilantro-lime brown rice, fresh tomato salsa, roasted chili-corn salsa, sour cream, Romaine lettuce, guacamole.
Jessie Diggins Bowl: Chicken, brown rice, black beans, fresh tomato salsa, fajita veggies, roasted chili-corn salsa, guacamole.

In addition to the digital menu items, Chipotle worked with its partner athletes to launch behind-the-scenes content as part of its "Unwrapped" video series, which details each athlete's respective journey to the top of their sport.

"Our Team Chipotle menu and Unwrapped series give fans an intimate look into how top U.S. winter athletes prepare for elite competitions," CMO Chris Brandt said in the release. "Through this access, we hope Chipotle fans can connect with these athletes' stories and be proud to watch them compete later this winter."
