Chipotle dropping 4 board members

Chipotle Mexican Grill reported Friday that four of its 12 board directors would not be up for re-election. John Charlesworth, Patrick Flynn, Darlene Friedman and Stephen Gillett will opt out of re-election this year, the chain announced via a regulatory filing.

Friedman has served on the board for 22 years, while Charlesworth and Flynn have been on the board for about 20 years, and Gillett has been a director for about two years.

The chain is still recovering from struggling sales after last year's reports of E. coli andfood-safetyissues.
