Chi'Lantro donates 100 percent of proceeds to charity

January 11, 2017

Fast casual Korean BBQ concept Chi'Lantro recently held a special event to celebrate its newest location in the south shore district of Austin, Texas, and proceeds benefited four charities.

From Jan. 6 to Jan. 7, guests donated whatever they wanted to pay for their Chi'Lantro meal to one of four charities: Children's Tumor Foundation, Austin Animal Center, Mobile Loaves & Fishes and the CareBOX program.

"Our success has led to so many incredible opportunities and giving back has always been one of the most important ones to us," Jae Kim, founder of Chi'Lantro, said in a press release. "I can't think of a better way to celebrate our fifth location than turning a spotlight on four deserving causes that we're honored to be donating our preview sales to."
