Chicken Salad Chick opening in Tuscaloosa, Ala.

Chicken Salad Chick announced today the development of another franchise location in December in Tuscaloosa, Ala., in the Shoppes at Midtown at 1800 MacFarland Blvd., unit 308.

"We are so excited to add this new location to the growing Chicken Salad Chick community throughout the Southeast," said Kevin Brown, president of Chicken Salad Chick. "It has been such a blessing to have franchisees join in sharing the Chicken Salad Chick experience with their own communities."

The Wishbone Group, which already owns and operates Chicken Salad Chicks in Northport and Dothan, Ala., will run the new unit. One additional location owned by The Wishbone Group will also open in Tuscaloosa, giving the city two locations.

"Kevin and I are so grateful for the enthusiasm and love people have shown for Chicken Salad Chick in their own communities," said Chicken Salad Chick Founder Stacy Brown.
