Chicken Salad Chick opening 14th Louisiana store

Chicken Salad Chick will open its 14th Louisiana restaurant next week under the direction of franchise owners Chad and Amanda Ducote, who opened their first location in Thibodaux.

"Our love for our community has only strengthened since opening our first location," Chad Ducote said in a company press release. "The people of this area are some of the kindest and most generous you'll ever meet, and their unwavering support has meant everything to us as we expand."

The Houma restaurant will offer in-restaurant dining, drive-thru, take-out, third-party delivery and catering.

Founded in Auburn, Alabama, by Stacy and Kevin Brown, in 2008, Chicken Salad Chick has grown to over 270 restaurants in 20 states.
