Chicken Salad Chick: 'Let them eat cake'

Chicken Salad Chick has added White Chocolate Layer Cake cake to the menu, thanks to its recent purchase of an Atlanta-based bakery.

"We're excited to expand our dessert offerings with the arrival of White Chocolate Layer Cake," Scott Deviney, CEO of Chicken Salad Chick, said in a company press release. "Staying true to our promise of delicious food always made from scratch, we know our guests will love this new addition and how it perfectly pairs with our menu. We all have reasons to celebrate every day. No matter what Chicken Salad Chick guests are celebrating, our cake is sure to add a little more joy to those special moments."

The cake features three layers of white chocolate sponge cake made with melted white chocolate and butter and cream cheese frosting. The permanent menu item can be ordered by the slice or as a whole cake and is available at all 260 Chicken Salad Chick locations nationwide.

Future cake additions include Red Velvet, Chocolate Frosted and Caramel cakes as seasonal offerings.
