Chicken Salad Chick lands in Arkansas, Houston

Chicken Salad Chick is expanding to Arkansas with a restaurant in Jonesboro, marking the brand’s first location in the state.

The company grew its unit count by 27 percent in 2017 and is continuing that momentum this year by expanding the concept into four new states including Oklahoma, Arkansas, Kentucky and Missouri, according to a press release.

The Jonesboro restaurant is located at on Parkwood Road and will celebrate its grand opening Nov. 14.

The brand is also readying its first location in Texas with a restaurant slated for the town of Spring. It's the brand's first in the Houston area and there are two more locations opening as well in early November.

The Spring restaurant will open on Nov.7 and is owned and operated by franchisee team, Jake Alleman and Cody Gielen of Cojak Enterprises, LLC, stated a press release.
