Atlanta-based Chicken Salad Chick is opening four company-owned restaurants this year in Indiana. The chain, which entered the state last year with a Jeffersonville location, will open March 9 in the Pyramid Place Shopping Center in Indianapolis. The others will follow in the Fishers, Glendale and Greenwood communities, respectively.

"Our team is always on the hunt for vibrant communities that connect with the Chicken Salad Chick experience and our mission – to spread joy, enrich lives and serve others," CEO and President Scott Deviney said in a company press release. "We've had our eye on Indianapolis for some time and are excited to bring a dose of our Southern hospitality and fan-favorite chicken salad into a number of new communities. The opening of not one, but four stores in a single year, is a genuine example of our heartfelt commitment to the market."

Chicken Salad Chick 179 restaurants open in 17 states.
