CherryBerry inches closer to 100-store mark

Beautiful Brands International has announced CherryBerry owners Dallas and Robyn Jones have opened their80th CherryBerry Self-Serve Yogurt Bar in less than two years. The newest location is located inMonticello, Minn.

“We’re very excited about this milestone and what we’ve accomplished in less than two years,” said David Rutkauskas, Beautiful Brands founder, president and CEO. “I give all the credit for our success to our tremendously loyal CherryBerry customers, plus, our talented team and franchise owners.

The national franchise, which opened its first store in Broken Arrow, Okla., in 2010, offers a variety of 12 premium rotating healthy and fat-free frozen yogurt flavors and more than 50 toppings. The store features self-serve yogurt stations, plus a toppings bar for customers to customize their yogurt creations. In addition to 80 stores currently open, there are 30 more under construction and 150 more in development to open within the next 18 months.

CherryBerry signed a deal two years ago with BBI to developand launch a franchise program. BBI's portfolio includes Camille’s Sidewalk Café, FreshBerry Frozen Yogurt Cafe, Rex’s Chicken, Caz’s Chowhouse, Dixie Cream Donut Co., Ludger’s Bavarian Cakery, CherryBerry Self-Serve Yogurt Bar, Sushi Freak, Top That! Pizza, Roxberry Juice Co., Smallcakes A Cupcakery, MyCamille’s, andFresco Wood Fired Italian Kitchen.
