David Danielson, executive chef at the Churchill Downs horse racing complex in Louisville, Kentucky, has opened Hoss Boss Wings & Ribs, a ghost kitchen concept serving southern style wings, baby back ribs and southern sides, according to a press release.
Hoss Boss, which launched today, will begin as delivery only via DoorDash, Uber Eats, and Grubhub with grand opening specials offered through each delivery platform.
Danielson, author of the Bourbon County Cook Book: New Southern Entertaining, has appeared on media outlets including "Top Chef Season 16" as celebrity chef judge, ABC World News, "Fox & Friends," and the Travel Channel. He has also consulted on several large-scale special events, including Super Bowl XLV, the U.S. Open tennis tournament, 2016 Rio Olympics and Lollapalooza.
"With the gaining popularity of virtual restaurants and ghost kitchens, I'm excited about the opportunity to develop chef-driven concepts that we feel will resonate with diners and give new variety of dishes through delivery and the fast casual landscape," Danielson said in the release.
Hoss Boss will be open Sunday through Thursday 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. and Friday and Saturday 11 a.m. to 11 p.m.
