Cheba Hut opening in Washington

Cheba Hut, a marijuana-inspired sub shop based in Fort Collins, Colorado, is opening a store June 27 at 306 W. Holly St., in Bellingham, Washington.

"This Bellingham location is one I've personally been looking forward to for a long time," Chief Relationship Officer Seth Larsen said in a press release. "Doug and Kristin (Engerman) are the perfect franchise partners for the job. We know this is going to be a huge success."

The Engermans have over 30 years of experience in technology entrepreneurship and interior design and said they fell in love with Cheba Hut while visiting a daughter at the University of Colorado-Denver.

"Our location is unique because we are opening in the former Rocket Donuts building," Kristen Engerman said in the release. "This is a very well-known and loved location."
