Cheba Hut, a counter-culture-themed sandwich shop known for its toasted subs, has opened its 11th Arizona store at 8776 E Shea Blvd, Suite 100, in Scottsdale.

The over 3,000-square-foot end-cap unit features a large patio, ample parking and scenic mountain views. Inside, a custom mural by artist Finley pays tribute to Scottsdale's reputation as a hub for classic car enthusiasts.

"Michelle (Lemos) and I are absolutely thrilled and honored to continue introducing Cheba Hut to the people of Scottsdale," Franchisee Justin Lemos said in a company press release. "We took special care to make sure the vibe in both of our restaurants reflects the city's amazing culture. So when you couple that with our high-quality food and laid-back atmosphere, we think it's another perfect addition to this wonderful community."

The Lemos couple opened their first shop in North Scottsdale on Feb. 3.
