Charleys Philly Steaks franchisee opens 36th location

Charleys Philly Steaks opened its latest location last month in Canton, Ohio at 4525 Tuscarawas St., marking the 36th location for the franchise group, Anjani, according to a company press release. In addition to several Charleys locations in Canton, Anjani owns stores in Cleveland, Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania and St. Louis, Missouri

Founded in 1986 in Ohio, Charleys Philly Steaks, which opened its 700th location earlier this year, serves cheese steaks as well as fries and fruit lemonades.

"Reaching 700 locations is just the beginning," Charleys President Candra Alisiswanto said in the release. "Our fans are craving more locations, and our franchisees are excited about growth. We're looking forward to our next big milestone of 1,000 locations."
