Charley's Grilled Subs has named Mike Cassar as the its new vice president of Marketing.
Cassar is tasked with bringing the brand personality of Charley's to life. He has extensive experience building brand equity for global consumer brands such as Valvoline Instant Oil Change, Michelin, XM Radio, Craftsman, IBM and Ford Motor Company. Most recently, he served as chief marketing officer for EAS Technologies.
"Charley's is an outstanding company with a tremendous following and superior food," Cassar said. "The foundation is all here; we just need to spread the word and bring the qualities that make Charley's such a unique experience to life."
Cassar earned his BA in business and communications and his MBA in marketing from the University of Michigan.
