CEO, CFO out at Jamba Juice
August 7, 2008
EMERYVILLE, Calif. — Jamba Inc. chief executive officer Paul Clayton and chief financial officer Donald Breen have resigned, the company announced. Both changes are effective immediately.
Steven R. Berrard, the company's chairman, will service as interim CEO and Karen Luey, the company's controller, will serve as interim CFO until replacements are found.
The company did not give a reason for the shakeup. Same-store sales at company-owned Jamba Juice stores fell 4.2 percent in the first quarter and 7.3 percent in the second quarter.
