Captain D’s seeks NC franchise candidates

Captain D's is planning to expand in Charlotte, Winston-Salem, Greensboro and Raleigh-Durham, North Carolina.

Captain D’s announced plans to expand its presence in North Carolina. The company currently has 28 Captain D’s restaurants located throughout the state with the most recent restaurant opening in Franklin on Sept 28, according to a company press release.

"We are seeking qualified franchise candidates in the Charlotte, Winston-Salem, Greensboro and Raleigh-Durham markets to expand our brand’s presence," said Mark Levis, senior director of franchise development for Captain D’s. "Prospective franchisees have an opportunity to join a nationally recognized brand that has been in operation for 46 years and in recent years, has achieved exceptional growth that catapulted us to the half a billion in system-wide sales mark. We look forward to welcoming local entrepreneurs at our open houses who are interested in making their mark on the restaurant industry and sharing more about franchising opportunities available with Captain D’s."

Those interested in developing Captain D’s restaurants in North Carolina should contact Sherrie Saller, franchise development coordinator, at (615) 231-2067 to discuss opportunities, the release stated. Additionally, Mark Levis, senior director of franchise development, will be hosting open houses in Charlotte, Winston-Salem and Raleigh-Durham to meet with interested franchisees. Date and locations for each market are as follows:

• Charlotte — 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.Wednesday, Oct. 21, at the Embassy Suites located at 1917 Ayrsley Town Blvd.
• Winston-Salem — 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 22, at the Doubletree location at 5790 University Pkwy.
• Raleigh-Durham — 8:30 to 10:30 a.m. Friday, Oct. 23, at the Embassy Suites located at 8001 Arco Corporate Drive

Captain D’s has 512 restaurants in 26 states and is rebranding as a fast casual brand.
