Captain D's opens 29th Mississippi location

Fast casual seafood brand Captain D's is continuing its expansion across the southeast U.S. with the opening of its 29th Mississippi location.

The Olive Branch store at 6111 E. Goodman Road is the third in the state and the 18th Captain D's opened by multi-unit franchisee Ike Seelbinder.

Seelbinder, principle owner of Nufish, LLC, signed his first franchise development deal with Captain D's in 2009, according to a press release.

Seelbinder plans to continue pushing the brand's footprint with the development of his 19th location in Arlington, Tennessee.

"Captain D's position as the leader of its category paired with its strong unit economics have solidified it as one of the most viable franchise opportunities available, and our continued growth and success with the brand is a testament to that," said Seelbinder in the release.
