Captain D's announced it is re-introducing its Captain's D-Lites menu featuring entrees under 500 calories. The D-Lites entrees are available now through Jan. 24, according to a company press release.
"At Captain D's, we believe that eating healthy doesn't have to mean eating tasteless boring food or that it should break the bank to get a meal that's good for you," said Jason Henderson, head chef and vice president of product innovation at Captain D's. "We take our customers' needs to heart and aim to create dishes rich in flavor and nutrients while offering a variety of meals at an affordable price."
All entrees from Captain D's D-Lites menu are served on a bed of rice with steamed broccoli and green beans or a side salad, with choices including Blackened Tilapia, Wild Alaskan Salmon, Lemon Pepper White Fish, Shrimp Skewers, and Surf & Turf. Customers are given the option to add any seasoning and can also order the above as an entree salad.
"The addition of our grilled menu, which we launched last year, has given us the ability to refresh our D-Lites menu with the addition of salads and flavor options," Henderson said.
