Captain D's lures and lands 5 in South Carolina

Captain D's has signed an agreement to open five units in South Carolina, a news release said. Goalz Restaurant Group is spearheading the development in the Palmetto State with plans for the Greenville-Spartanburg areas, as well as Rock Hill, according to a company press release.

Goalz Restaurant Group Principal Owner Shawn Eby and Vice President of Operations Danny Robinson bring 25 years of restaurant experience to the table. Aside from the new locations in the Greenville-Spartanburg area, as well as in Rock Hill, the pair also have locations in Kentucky and North Carolina. 

"Over the past six years, Captain D’s has continually achieved success and consistent same-store sales increases," Captain D's Chief Development Officer Michael Arrowsmith said in the release. "We’ve leveraged these accomplishments to propel our franchise development and drive interest from franchisee prospects nationwide.The compounding success Captain D’s has experienced is a true testament to the strength of our business model, which has allowed us to appeal to a new, wider demographic of consumers. South Carolina is chock-full of potential, and we look forward to expanding our footprint in the state.”

Captain D's has 514 restaurants in 21 states.
