Captain D's expands in Texas, Missouri

Captain D's has signed two new franchise development agreements that will expand the brand's footprint in Missouri and Texas, according to a news release.

"Throughout 2017, we have experienced explosive growth and development, opening new locations across the country and signing agreements to bring dozens of new restaurants to key markets nationwide," Chief Development Officer Michael Arrowsmith said in the release. "As the year comes to a close, we are looking ahead to the future and have no doubt we will continue building on this compounding momentum and propel the brand to new heights."

The new and existing Captain D's franchise agreements signed include:

  • Alaskan Ventures LLC, led by Mohammad "Jimmy" K. Jamshed, will open a new restaurant in Stephenville, Texas. Jamshed has more than 20 years' experience in multi-unit executive management.
  • Tom Durst of Tommy D's, Inc. has signed an agreement to open a new restaurant in Wentzville, Missouri. Durst has more than 10 years' experience in the foodservice industry, and has operated three restaurants in Missouri including a Dairy Queen franchise.

Captain D's currently has 528 restaurants in 21 states.
