Capriotti's plans West, Midwest expansion

LAS VEGAS — Specialty sandwich retailer Capriotti's has announced it has signed area development agreements to rapidly expand in the West, Midwest and mid-Atlantic areas.

Capriotti's is planning to open franchises in 20 major cities across the United States within the next five years. The stores feature tall deli counters, black, white and red interiors and a few tables and chairs.

The chain has more than 54 locations in eight states including Nevada, Arizona, Utah, Delaware, Pennsylvania, Maryland, New Jersey and Florida. Next on the list are California, Montana, Illinois, Northern Nevada, Colorado, and others.
